Theatre artiste passes away
NEW DELHI,
DEC. 13
. Noted theatre artiste Lalit Mohan Thapliyal has passed away. He breathed his last following a prolonged illness at Sir Ganga Ram Hospital here in the wee hours of Sunday. He was 84. He is survived by his wife and four daughters.
Winner of the Sahitya Akademi Award for "Chimtewale Baba", Thapliyal was cremated at Nigambodh Ghat on Sunday evening.
