NEW DELHI, DEC. 13. The Uttaranchal Chief Minister, N.D. Tiwari, today informed the Union Power Minister, P.M. Sayeed, that the Tehri Power Project was in its last phase of completion and would be inaugurated in the end of February next year. Mr. Tiwari, who met Mr. Sayeed in the Capital, invited the latter for the foundation-stone laying ceremony of the 108 MW "Lata Tapovan" hydroelectricity project at the state's Chamoli district on January 1. The power project will be completed by the National Hydroelectric Power Corporation (NHPC). The Chief Minister also informed the Union Minister about the various ongoing power projects in the State.
