By B. Muralidhar Reddy
ISLAMABAD, DEC. 13 . Pakistan today said India had not shared any information or evidence about the December 13, 2001 Parliament attack. The Foreign Office spokesman, Masood Khan, told the weekly news conference here that India has not shared any information to back its assertion that Pakistan-based militant outfits were behind the attack. He was responding to a question on the reported condemnation of Pakistan by Members of Parliament on the occasion of the third anniversary of the attack. Mr. Khan said the two countries had put behind the tense standoff that followed the attack and looked forward to the success of the composite dialogue process to resolve contentious issues. "That incident [attack] should not have happened, those allegations should not have been made and the confrontation which we saw in 2002 could have been avoided." He said the two countries "have come back from the brink of confrontation and we have the Composite Dialogue process going on between the two counties. We must look forward to the success of this dialogue."
