Double for Preethi, Urmila

BANGALORE, DEC. 13. Preethi L. Rao and Urmila N. Hegde bagged double titles in the Bangalore University inter-collegiate athletics championship here on Monday.

The results (winners only):

Men: 800 m: V. Rohit (Al-Ameen). 5000m: T. Chandrashekar (GFGC, Vijayanagar). Triple jump: Ranjit Shetty (SBMJC). Discus: B.G. Pratap (SKVCP).

Women: 800m: Preethi Rao (Al-Ameen). High jump: Urmila N. Hegde (BMS). Shot put: Torika Naiyaga (CMRIMS). 1500m: Preethi L. Rao. 100m hurdles: Urmila N. Hegde.
