HSBC clinches TNT Cup
BANGALORE,
DEC. 13.
HSBC won the 9th TNT Cup Inter Corporate cricket tournament, beating ANZ -IT by 18 runs in the final.
In a sporting gesture, TNT India donated the proceeds from the tournament to the United Nations World Food Programme this year also.
The following special prizes were given: Man of the final: Om Prakash (HSBC); Man of the series: Affan Shereef (Wipro); Best bowler: Amarnath (ANZ-IT); Best batsman: Rahul Das (ANZ-IT).
The scores (final): HSBC 138 in 25 overs (Kalidas 44) bt ANZ-IT 120 (Om Prakash 4 for 26).
