Dakshina Kannada retains title

DHARWAD, DEC. 13. Dakshina Kannada with 136 points retained the team championship in the Karnataka State pre-university and vocational institutes athletic meet, which concluded here this evening. Bangalore South occupied the second slot. M. Nissar of the Pre-University College, Mudabidri, got the individual championship among the boys, while the girls' title was shared between Shilpa Rao of the Bhagavan Mahaveer Jain College, Bangalore, and H.S. Manjula of the SDM Pre-University College, Ujire.
