Adopting a resolution unanimously to this effect during the three-day 19th annual district conference of the CPI on Sunday, it noted that the Government had to adopt a humanitarian approach towards tackling the problems of displaced persons and provide houses for farmers who lost their dwellings, and employment to agriculture labourers who lost their livelihood. If necessary, the Government should bring out special legislation for the purpose, it observed.
