Partly cloudy sky forecast

The sky will be partly cloudy on Tuesday and the minimum temperature will be around 17 degrees Celsius, according to the weather forecast for Bangalore.

On Monday, the city recorded a maximum temperature of 26.7 degrees Celsius and a minimum of 17.3 degrees Celsius. The relative humidity was 57 per cent.

At the airport, the maximum temperature was 26.5 degrees Celsius and the minimum was 17.2 degrees Celsius. The relative humidity was 52 per cent.

Dance seminar

A three-day Akhila Karnataka Nritya Sammelana will be conducted from Wednesday by Karnataka Nrityakala Parishath in collaboration with Bangalore Gayana Samaj. The sessions will include lectures, lecture-demonstrations, performances by eminent dancers and discussions on various classical dance forms such as Bharatanatyam, Kathak, Kuchipudi and Kathakali.

Training camp

Jahnavi Mahila Charitable Trust will conduct a two-day self-employment training camp for women from poor families. The camp will grant loans to help them take up self-employment through self-help groups. For details, dial 57731456.

Astrology

Essay contest
