Woman ends life after son's suicide bid

TUMKUR,
DEC. 14.
The body of a woman was found hanging from the roof of her house in Vidyanagar Extension in Tiptur on Monday.
The police identified the body as that of Channamma (52), wife of Ramachari.
The police said she hanged herself to death.
Her son, who got married recently and attempted suicide last week, was recuperating in a hospital.
Why the two took the extreme step was not known, the police said.
