Airtel launches new service
NEW DELHI: Airtel on Tuesday announced the launch of "Airtel Collect SMS" that allows all Airtel subscribers to send toll-free SMS to another Airtel customer, with the option to the receiver to pay for reading the SMS. At present, the new service is being offered in the Delhi circle.
The launch of the Airtel Collect SMS service is a result of an internal research and the study of customer usage patterns.
The service is especially relevant to a high end user wishing to receive SMS for a low spending family member/ friend and therefore can now easily pay for receiving SMS from them.
