CII-AP to organise GMP summit
HYDERABAD: The Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), Andhra Pradesh, is organising the "CII-GMP Summit Series 1: Focus Pharma" on December 20 and 21 here. According to a release issued here on Tuesday, this is the first of the series designed by CII-AP, and it focuses on achieving good manufacturing practices (GMP) in the Indian pharmaceutical sector. The conference would address critical issues of GMP with relevance to Indian pharmaceutical industry and provide a platform for one-to-one interaction with domestic and international players. It would also deliberate on the preparedness of the Government, industry and financial institutions in implementing GMP, it said.
