Sonia expresses sorrow

NEW DELHI, DEC. 14. The Congress president, Sonia Gandhi, today expressed deep shock and sorrow over the loss of lives in the Punjab train collision and conveyed her heartfelt sympathy to the next of kin of the victims.

Ms. Gandhi asked the Punjab Chief Minister, Amarinder Singh, to provide immediate relief to the next of kin of those killed and all those injured in the accident, the AICC secretary, Tom Vadakkan, said.
