NEW DELHI, DEC. 14. Two persons, including a woman, allegedly committed suicide in separate incidents reported from East Delhi today. According to the police, 25-year-old Vijay, a resident of Block No. 17 in Kalyanpuri, hanged himself from the ceiling in his house in the afternoon. Later, the family members took Vijay's body to Lal Bahadur Shastri Hospital where the authorities informed the police around 5-15 p.m. No suicide note was recovered from the spot. Preliminary investigations revealed that Vijay, who was unmarried, was unemployed for the past two months. In another incident, a 40-year-old woman allegedly hanged herself with the help of a "chunni" in her house in Mandawali around 3 p.m. Her husband, Satya Prakash, who worked as a welder, and her two children were not present in the house. No suicide note was recovered from the spot.
