This Day That Age
Dr. A Lakshmanaswamy Mudaliar of India has been elected Chairman of the Executive Board of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation, the UNESCO headquarters announced in Paris on December 14. Dr. Lakshmanaswamy Mudaliar, Vice-Chancellor of Madras University since 1942, was elected to the post during the closing meeting of the UNESCO general conference in Montevideo, Uruguay.
