PONDICHERRY, DEC. 16. P. Elumalai, (27), a member of the Home Guard in Pondicherry, was arrested on Wednesday for allegedly cheating a 21-year-old girl of Sedarapet village with whom he had reportedly developed intimacy a couple of months ago. Police sources today said he had promised the girl he would marry her, but let her down.
