BANGALORE, DEC. 17. The title deciding round of the MRF National Motocross will be held at the Palace Ground here on Sunday. The two main teams in the fray for the sixth and final round, TVS and Yamaha, will go all out to take the honours. To add spice to the event, a few privateers from Guwahati will be part of the challenge and some upsets cannot be ruled out. The good news for the sport is that bike manufacturer Honda is scouting for riders and will definitely be in the fray for next year's championship. The number of confirmed entries is above 150. TVS's C. Vijaykumar has a formidable lead in the overall points tally for the Class I Group `A' section and will only be beaten if he does not finish in both the motos. He needs just five points from the two motos to claim his third successive title in this class. Yamaha's Shivakumar also has an unassailable lead in the Class V Group D event, but the overall crown in six other sections is up for grabs. A 900m track has been laid out at the Palace ground with a number of double jumps and table-tops to make the races exciting for the public. The track will be opened on Saturday for practice rounds.
