TIRUCHI, DEC. 17. The Tiruchi Division of the Southern Railways has opened a Computerised Advance Reservation Counter (CARC) at the Srirangam temple for the benefit of pilgrims in connection with the Vaikunda Ekadasi festival. The counter will function from 8 a.m. to 12 noon and from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. till December 24, an official release here said. Unreserved tickets will also be issued to all destinations from the Srirangam station a day prior to the day of journey.
