Advani to visit Coimbatore today

COIMBATORE,
DEC. 17.
The national president of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), L.K. Advani, will arrive at Coimbatore tomorrow on his way to Palakkad in Kerala for attending the State Executive of the Kerala Unit of the party. Mr. Advani will fly from New Delhi on a scheduled flight of a private airlines and arrive at 11.00 a.m. He will address a press conference at the PWD Circuit House in Red Fields.
He will leave for Palakkad at 3.00 p.m., by road. He will return to Coimbatore tomorrow night, for an overnight stay. He will leave for Bangalore by a scheduled aircraft of a private airlines on Sunday morning at 7.00 a.m. A tight security cordon has been thrown in and around the Peelamedu airport, Circuit House and along the Coimbatore - Palakkad road. There will be very minimum traffic diversions on the convoy route for a brief period, the police said.
