LUCKNOW, DEC 17 . The Uttar Pradesh Technical University (UPTU) today suspended examinations of three semesters of different courses following leak of examination papers. The Vice-Chancellor, Durg Singh Chauhan, has rushed to Agra where two students were arrested with the leaked papers last night. While the university authorities had information that exam papers were being sold, they decided to suspend the semester III, V and VII examinations of 40 branches of B Tech, besides MBA, MCA and Architecture after getting ``ample evidence'' yesterday. Over 74,000 students were appearing for the examinations from 70 centres across the State which began on December 6. While examinations from today till December 24 have been suspended, the decision on the examinations held from December 6 till yesterday would be taken later, a university spokesperson said. -- UNI
