HASSAN, DEC. 17. The National Super League Volleyball Championship (Final round) will be held at the District Stadium, Hassan in Karnataka for six days from December 21. Addressing press persons here on Friday, the General Secretary, Karnataka Volleyball Championship, N. Nandakumar said that, in the National Super League Championship, 6 men and 4 women teams would play in the round robin league basis, to decide their ranking and for the prize money. A total number of 15 matches in the men section and 6 matches in the women section would be spread over six days with 3 matches a day he added. The championship was organized by the Sahyadri Volleyball Club, Hassan and all the matches would be played at the newly laid flood light volleyball court at the district stadium, Hassan he said. Qualified teams for Hassan National super league are as follows: Men: HSIDC-Haryana, Southern Railway-Chennai, Indian Navy-Cochin, South Central Railway-Secundrabad, Kochi Refineries-Kerala and Indian Overseas Bank-Chennai. Women: South Central Railway-Secundrabad, Southern Railway-Chennai, Central Railway-Mumbai and Karnataka Club-Bangalore.
