Only one short discussion during session

HYDERABAD,
DEC. 17.
There was only one short discussion during the nine-day winter session of the Assembly, which concluded on Friday.
The House sat for more than 55 hours during which 82 starred questions were answered orally and answers to 130 placed on the table of the House. Members made 55 speeches and Ministers issued six statements. Seven bills were introduced and five of them passed. As many as 43 adjournment motions were tabled and disallowed.
The following is the party position at the end of the session: Congress (185), TDP (46), TRS (26), CPI(M) (9), CPI (6), AIMIM (5), BJP and Janata Party (2 each), Bahujan Samaj Party and Samajwadi Party (one each), Independents (11) and vacant - 1(to be nominated).
