Sacred vessel arrives from Pak.
Accompanied by Mr. Khan, Ganga Sagar was taken by a charted flight to Amritsar, said the Sikh leader and a local Councillor, Onkar Singh Thapar, today. The vessel would be put on display for public at Amritsar from December 18 to 27, he said. Mr. Thapar said the vessel was presented to Rai Kalaaji, forefathers of Mr. Khan, by Guru Gobind Singh when he stayed at his house during his fight against the Mughals.
NCC team visits Vietnam
According to a NCC release, the members of the delegation today called on the Director General of NCC, Lieutenant General, M.C. Bhandari. He lauded their efforts in bringing glory to the country. In Vietnam the cadets participated in the International Cadet Exchange Programme and also got an opportunity to visit various places of importance.
Concern over decline in ethics
Delivering the 20th Des Raj Chaudhry Memorial Lecture at the Federation of Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry Auditorium here on Wednesday, Dr. Singhvi blamed the political parties for the decadence in our national life. "Politicians have become insensitive and political parties have lost their sense of propriety," he added. The annual lecture series has been instituted by Chandravati Chaudhry Smarak Trust to commemorate the memory of its founder Des Raj Chaudhry.
Finance award
The award was presented to Mr. Narasimharamulu by the Chairman of the Security and Exchange Board of India (SEBI), G. N. Bajpai, in Mumbai. Instituted by the International Market Assessment India, the India CFO Awards exemplify financial distinction and honour individuals who are "best in class".

She urged the trainees to learn their craft with sincerity. The founder of Sulabh International Social Service Organisation, Bindeshwar Pathak, emphasised the need to empower women through vocational training.
