Bane of globalisation?

Sir, — Workaholism is not confined to a few individuals; it is the problem of society today. With globalisation and the advent of computer and BPO industries, a great wave of change has swept across the country. Now people work from dawn to midnight.

Unlike Western countries, where workdays and holidays are separated and treated distinctly, we do not have such practices in India. The work goes on till the workaholic retires (if at all he decides to retire).
