HYDERABAD, DEC. 19. Abhishek Rana of Punjabi University, Patiala stole the show in the 1km time trial final with a time of one minute 12.55 seconds, at the all-India Inter-university cycling championships for men and women here on Sunday. Ravinder Singh, also of the same University, and Prince H. S. Hylen of Kerala University finished second and third respectively. The line-up of qualifiers for the semifinals in 1km sprint (men) is Abhishek Rana vs Suman Singh and Gurinder Singh vs Hylen. In the 3km individual pursuit for women, B. R. Reshmi, Pratima Lohari, Manpreet Kaur and Kulwinder Kaur qualified. In the 4km team pursuit for men, Manipur University, University of Bikaner, Punjabi University, Patiala and University of Rajasthan teams qualified.
