VISAKHAPATNAM, DEC. 19. Koneru Chandrahawsa, younger sister of Koneru Humpy, won the Sri Prakash all-India FIDE rating round robin chess tournament held here.
1. K. Chandrahawsa (15 points), 2. J. Malleswara Rao (14), 3. Tejesh Chandra and B. Ramana Babu (joint third, 13 each), 5. K. Yoganand (12), 6. G.V. Srinivas (11), 7. R. Eswar, A.V.S. Vijay Kumar and Abhishek Paul (joint seventh, 9), 10. M. Manjunatha and M.V. Pankaj Lahari (joint 10th, 8).
Results of 17th and final round:
Chandrahawsa drew with Manjunatha; Ramana Babu drew with Malleswara Rao; Srinivas drew with Tejesh Chandra; Yoganand bt S. Varahalu (6); A.V.S. Vijaykumar drew with Eswar; Vuyyur Srinivas (0.5) lost to Ch. Mohineesh (7); Sharma (0.5) lost to Pankaj Lahari; S.S. Raju (7) drew with Abhishek Paul; Hemanth Kumar (5) drew with Y.G. Sriharika (6).
