DINDIGUL, DEC. 19. Defending champion Manipur and last year's runner-up Orissa qualified for the semifinals of the second junior National girls under-17 football championship from the four-team Pool I quarterfinal league at Dindigul District Stadium here on Sunday. In the last round matches of the league, Manipur posted a 3-0 win over Haryana for an all-win record while Orissa trounced Jharkhand 5-1 for its second win. Bala Devi scored a brace and Parameswari Devi scored the other goal for Manipur. Sasmita Malik performed a hat-trick and Jhilli Munda accounted for the other two goals for Orissa. Rini Kujur scored the only goal for Jharkhand.
