V-Cs assume charge

TIRUPATI, DEC. 19. S. Jayarama Reddy and Veena Noble Dass took charge as Vice-Chancellors of Sri Venkateswara University and Sri Padmavathi Mahila Viswa Vidyalayam respectively on Sunday.

While Prof. Reddy expressed his determination to work towards bagging the `A++' grade of UGC's National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC), Prof. Dass promised to work for getting Central University status to SPMVV.
