BANGALORE, DEC. 19. K. Manjunath's 108 helped Bangalore Zone secure a 178-run first-innings lead over Tumkur Zone in an S.A. Srinivasan Memorial Trophy under-22 tournament match at the K.T. Palace Ground here on Sunday.
At the Gangotri Glades grounds in Mysore, the match between Mysore Zone and Combined City XI ended in a draw. Mysore gained points for first-innings lead.
Dharwad Zone 200 in 46.1 overs and 89 for one in 39 overs (Albert John 59 n.o.) vs President's XI 425 for seven in 90 overs (Nidhuvan Gotadke 190, K. Sachin 73).
At Mysore: Mysore Zone 356 in 87.1 overs (K.B. Chandan 73, P. Yogesh 65, S.P. Manjunath 63, Kafeel Ahmed 45, G. Vinay five for 93) and 106 for one in 24 overs (S.S. Yognath 46 not out, Arun Bafna 48 not out) drew with Combined City XI 260 in 75.3 overs (C.S. Yathiraj 111, S. Mithun 40, H.R. Cheluvaraj five for 42).
At Mandya: Raichur Zone 129 in 40.2 overs (N. Chetan four for 30) and 217 in 60.5 overs (Gautham 78, Krishna Vashist four for 32) drew with Bangalore City 220 in 64.4 overs (Raju Bhatkal 61, Bharath Chipli 40, M. Vinay five for 41) and 105 for one in 13 overs (Bharath Chipli 42 not out).
