NIZAMABAD, DEC. 19. A housewife, Kammari Jamuna (20), resident of Devunipally under Kamareddy rural police station limits was allegedly strangled to death by her husband, Swamy late last night. According to police, the victim was married to one Swamy of Deme village in Tadwai mandal two years ago. Thereafter, the couple lived in different villages. The accused worked as a Registered Medical Practitioner at Deme and Devunipally. Subsequently, Swamy turned alcoholic and vagabond while his wife eked out a living by rolling beedies. As usual, she rolled beedies and slept after dinner last night when Swamy returned home and reportedly strangulated her to death. The Sub-Inspector, M.A. Javed, registered a case under Section 302 IPC basing on a complaint filed by the victims parents, Kammari Lakshman and Yasoda and arrested the accused.
