MADURAI, DEC.19. The city today registered a maximum temperature of 30.5 degree Celsius and a minimum of 18.9 degree Celsius.

Water level

The level in the Periyar dam today stood at 123 feet with an inflow of 275 cusecs and a discharge of 1388 cusecs. The level in the Vaigai dam was 50 feet with an inflow of 1137 cusecs and a discharge of 530 cusecs. The combined Periyar credit stood at 4603 mcft.
