Nights to

remain chilly

Clear sky with minimum temperature around 11 degrees Celsius in the city has been forecast for Monday. The maximum temperature recorded on Sunday was 30.2 degrees Celsius and minimum temperature was 10.4 degrees Celsius with a relative humidity of 29 per cent.

Dialogue session

The Standing Committee of Tarnaka Residents Welfare Association is organising a dialogue session with the Additional Commissioner of Police, A.K. Khan, on issues of concern to residents of Tarnaka in the area of law and order and traffic at 4 p.m. on Monday. The meeting will be held at the Tarnaka Welfare Association Community Hall, Street No.1, according to a press release.

Depositors' meet

The Prudential Co-op Bank Share Holders and Depositors Welfare Association has called for an emergency general body meeting at the Lions Bhavan near Paradise Circle at 4 p.m. on Monday. In a press release the association secretary, P. Surya Prakash Rao, said the meeting would discuss steps for revival of the bank and make an appeal to the Centre to restore the bank's licence.

Engineers' conference

A three-day international conference on bridges is being organised here from December 20 by the Indian Institution of Bridge Engineers at Rail Nilayam, Secunderabad. R.K. Singh, Chairman, Railway Board, will inaugurate it, according to a press release.

Medical camp

The Indian Association of Physiotherapists in association with the Lions Club of Secunderabad Cantonment organised a free physiotherapy and medical camp at Nallagutta Abivridhi Sangh, Ramgopalpet on Sunday. The camp was inaugurated by the Hyderabad District Collector, Arvind Kumar.

`Kirtan Darbar'

Sikhs in the city observed the 329th Martyrdom of the 9th Sikh Guru, Guru Teg Bahadur Sahebji on Sunday. A `Vishaal Kirtan Darbar' was organised at the Labour Welfare Centre, Seetafalmandi and a colourful procession `Nagar Keertan' was taken out in the city on the occasion, according to a press release.
