Epson gains in market share
BANGALORE: Epson India on Monday announced steady gains in its market share for the July-September quarter. The company's overall printer market share, according to results, has gone up over the last quarter by 7.5 percentage points to 22.8 per cent. The increased sales have been in the Inkjet and Dot Matrix printer segments. The company said that though the inkjet market had seen a negative growth of 15 per cent for this quarter, the company had done well as it had introduced several new models. Its Dot Matrix market share for the quarter was 38.5 per cent, an increase of 16 per cent over the same period last year.
