Muralikannan slams century

TUTICORIN, DEC. 20. Helped by an unbeaten 114 by Muralikannan, Seconds Cricket Club `A' chalked out a 97-run victory over Sealines Cricket Club in the Indian Bank-Tuticorin District Cricket Association first division league here on Sunday.

The scores: First division: Seconds CC `A' 254 for six in 40 overs (Muralikannan 114 not out, Sakayaraj four for 27) bt Sealines CC 157 in 29.2 overs (Arun Shankar four for 18).

Dhrangdhara Chemical Works CC 129 in 34 overs (Raja 42, Crisipin four for 17) lost to PUSCO CC 131 for nine in 38.4 overs.

Second division: Thermal Recreation Club `A' 149 in 33.1 overs bt Young Star CC 148 in 36.4 overs (Ramakrishnan 54, Marimuthu 42, Velu five for 24).

Third division: Young Waves CC 164 in 25 overs (Herald 65) bt ASTRA CC 119 in 23 overs.
