Train accidents

Sir, — Railway accidents and the consequent death toll invariably get reduced to statistics with no lessons learnt. It is time for a systemic overhaul, including safety measures, on a war footing. The gimmickry of Railway Minister, Lalu Prasad, can amuse the nation for a while, but not save lives.
