Pondicherry Dec.20. The Chief Minister, N. Rangasamy, will meet the Deputy Chairman of the Planning Commission, Montek Singh Ahluwalia, on December 27 in New Delhi to ask for more plan funds for the for the Union Territory in 2005-06, an official source said here today. The Chief Secretary, C. S. Khairwal, the Finance Secretary M. Sathiyavathy, and Director of Planning and Research Department here M. Sreedharan, will accompany the Chief Minister at the meeting. The State Planning Board had on Saturday finalised a draft proposal seeking Rs. 1100 crores from the Centre under the next annual plan to speed up development of the Union Territory.
