President's XI triumphs

President's XI emerged champion in the KSCA inter-zonal under-13 tournament here on Monday. In the final that concluded here at the RSI Ground, President's XI defeated Tumkur Zone by an innings and 19 runs.
Tumkur Zone, after suffering a 162-run first innings deficit, collapsed again in its second innings and was bowled out for 143 while President's XI's Vamshidhar bagged four wickets.
The scores: Tumkur Zone 137 in 75.2 overs and 143 in 66.4 overs (Vamshidhar four for 37) lost to President's XI 299 in 119 overs.
