Sanjay Verma was among the runs, scoring 143 in the first innings and 53 in the second, as Delhi Police got the better of Food Corporation of India by virtue of the first innings lead in a Premier Division match in the DDCA cricket league here.
The scores:
Premier Division: Delhi Police 302 in 68.4 overs (Sanjay 143, Kuldeep 68, Vineet 47, Naveen 44, Pankaj four for 90) and 108 for four in 22 overs (Sanjay 53) bt Food Corporation of India 275 in 88 overs (Rajinder 116, Sane four for 77).
Super Elite-I: South Delhi Colts 186 for eight in 35 overs (Amanjeet 90, Vipul five for 28) bt Rani Bagh Club 131 in 31.4 overs (Anil 44, Uday 42).
