VISAKHAPATNAM, DEC. 20. Wife of a construction worker died in tragic circumstances at the site where a housing complex for weaker sections was being constructed under the VAMBAY scheme in Gnanapuram area here on Monday. Walls of a temporary water tank, constructed about 10 days ago, collapsed while water was being released into the tank, and the victim allegedly died after being pushed into a foundation pit adjacent to the tank by the debris of the wall and gushing water, according to the V Town Police. The victim was identified as Palli Saraswathi (50), wife of Yerrayya. Two other women, Lakshmi and Suseela, who were running a canteen near the tank, suffered injuries and were being treated at the King George Hospital.
