KOCHI, DEC. 20. The main challenge facing Kochi's growth as a metro city is the paucity of adequate land, said Antony Isaac, Chairman of the Greater Cochin Development Authority. He was speaking at the inauguration of a seminar held recently on `Kochi - Emerging Metro' organised jointly by the Graduates Association of Civil Engineers and Mather Projects. The District Collector, A.P.M Mohammed Hanish, who was the chief guest, said that the development of Kochi should be on a par with Mumbai City, which benefited through the collective efforts of the public, Government and other organisations.
