THIRUVANANTHAPURAM, DEC. 20. Consumers who come under the Thiruvananthapuram Drinking Water Project should contact the assistant engineers in their respective section and clear water bill arrears before December 31, a press release quoting the Kerala Water Authority executive engineer has said. Repairs in the pipeline between the main supply line and the meter in domestic connections should be carried out by the consumers at their own expense. The assistant engineer in each section will issue a notice to the consumer when a leak is detected. Even if a notice is not served, the consumer should intimate the assistant engineer and plug the leak at his own expense.
