Men behind murder identified?

By Our Staff Reporter

HYDERABAD, DEC. 20. Special police teams, formed to nab the assailants who brutally murdered Mohammed Ibrahim, an accused in a murder case, at Ajanta Gate at Nampally on Sunday, are believed to have identified those who carried out the operation.

The police parties spread across different areas in the old city, including Shalibanda, Kalapather and Kamatipura, are on the lookout for at least six persons, believed to be the henchmen of one Barkath Ali. However, no one has been taken into custody.

The police suspect the involvement of Barkath Ali, whose brother Hameed was done to death, allegedly by Ibrahim and few others following a petty quarrel over playing cards in March this year.
