Transco employee

found dead

An assistant lineman with AP Transco, Y. Jangaiah (50), was found dead in a 10-feet deep ditch in an abandoned house at New Saidabad under suspicious circumstances on Sunday. He was a resident of Pedda Amberpet. There were no clothes on the body. The Saidabad police shifted the body to Osmania Hospital mortuary for autopsy.

Woman

ends life

A resident of Bomsaipet, M. Padma (22), who allegedly consumed pesticide at her residence on Sunday, died later while undergoing treatment at Gandhi Hospital. She was the daughter of Narasimha Reddy. It is learnt that Padma was having an affair with one Srinivas. However, Srinivas is reported to have refused to marry her.The Shameerpet police are investigating.

Businessman

dies in mishap

A businessman, Dinesh Kumar Goel (19), of Saleem Nagar in Malakpet, who suffered severe injuries when the scooter he was driving was hit by a lorry near Chintalkunta checkpost on Sunday night, died on Monday morning while undergoing treatment at a private hospital. He was the son of Suresh Kumar Goel. The police said that Dinesh was returning home from his rice mill at Hayatnagar when the mishap occurred. The L.B.Nagar police have registered a case.

Man hit by train

A private employee, K. Satyanarayana (19), of Markendaiah Nagar died after he was hit by a train while he was crossing the railway tracks near Fateh Nagar on Sunday. The Nampally railway police shifted the body to Osmania Hospital mortuary.
