Piramal group denies family split
MUMBAI,
DEC. 21.
Denying a split in the Piramal family, Piramal Enterprises Ltd (PEL) today said the Piramal Group has put in place a strong management team to run the businesses to take advantage of benefits emerging from new patent regime dismantling of multi-fibre agreement (MFA). The Chairman of PEL, Ajay G. Piramal, and Vice Chairperson, Urvi A. Piramal, in a joint statement here said the speculation about a split in a section of media was "wrong and baseless."
