Korea accepts EIC certificate

NEW DELHI, DEC. 21. The Korean Food and Drug Administration (KFDA) has agreed to accept certification of agricultural and food products exported from here by the Export Inspection Council (EIC) of India.

The EIC is an autonomous statutory body under the Commerce Ministry, constituted for the sound development of export trade through quality control and inspection and other related matters. It performs these activities through five agencies, one each in Chennai, Delhi, Kochi, Kolkata and Mumbai.
