IOC, ONGC in final

NEW DELHI, DEC. 21. Sunil Kumar and Prahlad Srinath dropped six games between them in helping Indian Oil Corporation to a 2-0 victory over Oil India Limited in the semifinals of the 24th all-India PSPB inter-unit tennis tournament at the DLTA Complex here on Tuesday.

The results: Team (semifinals): IOC beat OIL `A' 2-0 (Sunil Kumar bt Anshuman Datta 6-0, 6-3; Prahlad Srinath bt Chandrasekar Mohanty 6-1, 6-2); ONGC beat IBP 2-0 (Ajay Ramaswamy bt T. S. Bhandari 6-3, 6-1; Vijay Kannan bt Saurav Panja 6-4, 6-4).

Singles (pre-quarterfinals): Vasudeva Reddy bt S. S. V. Prasad 6-1, 6-3; S. Narendra Nath bt Pradeep 6-0, 6-2; Anshuman Datta bt Ranabir Chowdhary 6-2, 6-2; Shiv Kumar Palani bt S. Nagpal 6-0, 6-1; R. Rajeev bt N. N. Rao 6-1, 6-2; Chandrasekar Mohanty bt Abhijeet Gogoi 6-0, 6-0; Ramanuj Datta bt Munish Khanna 6-4, 6-2.
