NIZAMABAD, DEC. 21. The district police in a day or two will release an audio cassette to be played in nationalised bank branches to alert customers about thefts and robberies near banks. The audio cassette has ten cautions for customers to protect themselves from thieves after drawing money from banks. It has been prepared by the police and will be circulated to banks. They will be played at important branches. A video film is also getting ready for telecast through local channels. The police have initiated these measures after a customer was robbed of over Rs. 8 lakhs near the State Bank of India branch in the town recently.
