KOCHI, DEC.21. The CBI court today remanded to CBI custody K.V. Balachandran, Chief Chemical Examiner, Customs House, Kochi, arrested in connection with a case relating to doctoring of chemical analysis report of spirit imported from Brazil. Balachandran was remanded to CBI custody for two days. The charge against him is that he had doctored the chemical analysis reports, thereby causing huge loss to the Customs.
