4 held on charge of supplying firearms to factionists

HYDERABAD,
DEC. 21.
A routine frisking operation during the `Nakabandi' organised last night helped police nab four members of a gang on the charge of supplying firearms to a Rayalaseema factionists, it was learnt.
Sources said the the Hyderabad Police Task Force (Central) team intercepted a four-wheeler with four passengers. On subjecting them to frisking, one was found possessing a country-made revolver.
The accused initially pleaded ignorance, but subsequently admitted that he had been supplying firearms to factionists in Rayalaseema, especially in Anantapur.
