CHANDIGARH, DEC. 22. A judicial commission set up to probe allegations of hawala transactions against Raninder Singh, son of Punjab Chief Minister Amarinder Singh, has cleared him of the charge. The Chief Minister told a news conference here this evening that Justice Nehra Commission submitted its report to the Chief Secretary two days ago saying it did not find any truth in the allegations of the hawala transaction against Raninder. The Commission recommended that criminal cases be registered against those who fabricated the documents. The Chief Minister said the report had been given to the Home Secretary who would take legal opinion from the Advocate- General after which a decision on further action in the matter would be taken.
