Vikas Chauhan advances

NEW DELHI, DEC. 22. Vikas Chauhan defeated Vinish Nair 6-3, 1-6, 7-5 in the first round of the boys' under-18 section in the Ram Lal memorial AITA Talent series tennis tournament at the Modern School courts, Barakhamba Road, here on Wednesday.

The results (first round): Boys: Under-18: Aman Puri bt Abhay Jain 6-3, 6-2; Bharat Bhardwaj bt Sunny Sharma 6-0, 6-0; Yuki Bhambri bt Yogender Phore 6-3, 6-1; Vikas Chauhan bt Vinish Nair 6-3, 1-6, 7-5.
